Information you choose to provide

When forms are active, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, state/country, voting choice, how you found Puppy Gumbo, comments, contact questions, and whether you want updates.

How we use that information

• to receive and count votes or feedback;
• to respond to questions and support requests;
• to send Puppy Gumbo updates only when you ask for them;
• to operate future Founder, purchase, or account services after those services are connected and their terms are disclosed.

We try to collect only information reasonably needed for the purpose presented to you.

Browser storage and sharing

The current website may use session storage to carry visitor information between the Jingle Competition and Featured Song forms during the same browser session. The Founder Jukebox may use local browser storage for favorites. Those browser-stored items remain on your device unless your browser clears them.

Song/jingle sharing features may record limited event information such as the song or jingle identifier, page, share method, time, and referring website host. Puppy Gumbo does not intentionally collect the recipient's contacts, private message, or address book through the sharing control.

Hosting and form providers

The launch website is hosted through Netlify. When Netlify form handling is enabled, information submitted through a Puppy Gumbo form may be processed and stored by Netlify on Puppy Gumbo's behalf. Future checkout or account providers will be identified before those services are activated.

No sale of personal information

Puppy Gumbo does not sell personal information. Puppy Gumbo does not currently place third-party advertising trackers on the site as part of this launch build.

Children

Puppy Gumbo is intended for adult dog owners and families. Website forms are for people 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, please do not submit personal information; ask a parent or guardian to contact Puppy Gumbo for you.

Retention, access, and deletion

We aim to keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, legal/business records, or an active relationship. You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion when appropriate.

Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information and services in use. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this policy

As Puppy Gumbo adds checkout, Founder accounts, analytics, or other services, this policy may be updated. The current revision date will appear at the top of this page.
